Wireless Broadband Innovation Locates, Locks and Tracks Fixed or Mobile Radio Antennas

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., March 18, 2009 -- Effective immediately, Broadband Antenna Tracking Systems (BATS) customers will benefit from significant price reductions that are a result of pricing renegotiations with its component and parts manufacturers as well as its manufacturing facility.

BATS software and hardware technology allows broadband communication systems, either mobile or fixed, to automatically search for and lock onto a friendly access point in seconds. Once the AP is located, predictive tracking is employed to maximize bandwidth and minimize movement of the antennas.

“We are always looking at ways to reduce our customers’ costs without sacrificing quality. Working with our suppliers and manufacturer, we are able to reduce the price of our products by up to 20 percent, and we continue to look for more ways to bring a stronger return on customer investments with our innovative technology and pricing,” said Bob Peterson, Chief Executive Officer, BATS.

Reduced pricing is reflected in the popular BTS-2500 product as well as with the newly introduced Rack Mount Control Unit.
